STEP 1: TAKE YOUR DIGITALS

The first essential step to apply to any agency is to take your digitals (natural photos on a white or neutral background, in daylight).

HOW TO TAKE MODEL DIGITALS ?

Digitals show your natural appearance. They must include: headshots, full body shots, and 3/4 profile. You can also add lingerie digitals. You can take them with your phone, but quality matters: poorly done digitals can ruin your application.
Working with a professional photographer increases your chances with agencies.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR DIGITALS VIDEO   ?

In addition to photo digitals, many agencies ask for digitals video & presentation video.
Both are used to convince a client at castings.

Quality is key. A shaky, blurry, or poorly lit video will work against you.
Shooting with a professional gives you the best chance to make a strong impression.

WHAT IS A MODEL PORTFOLIO?

The portfolio is a selection of your best images, presented to agents and clients during castings.
It shows your model category: beauty, commercial, high fashion, lingerie, etc.

HOW TO BUILD YOUR PORTFOLIO ?

A strong portfolio shows versatility: different angles, simple looks, light natural makeup, and minimal retouching.

Agencies often ask to see your portfolio before signing you.
It is not always free. Agencies can advance the cost of test shoots, but you will repay it with your first jobs.
